Welcome to Coastal Trail Cottage

10 minutes from Ponta Delgada, Ribeira Grande and Batalha Golf Club.

The cottage walls are local stone up to 1 metre thick in places. The ceilings are the original wood and there is an original fireplace. The garden is enclosed by stone walls.

Lounge - 2 Leather Sofas, TV with local channels. Wifi / Internet.

Dining Area - Table and seating for up to 8.

Kitchen - New units throughout. Fully equipped. Fridge, cooker, hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, electric fan heaters.

Bedroom 1 - double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Cot available.

Bedroom 2 - Sleeps 2 or 3. 2 single beds, or bunk beds and single bed.

Family bathroom - shower, sink, toilet, bidet.

Garden - large garden with rear access to the cliffs and sea, Picnic table overlooking the sea. Outbuilding with washing machine and tumble dryer. Patio with garden table and chairs. Clothes drying area.

Parking is always available on the quiet road outside the cottage.

Inside the house there are Operating Instructions for all appliances. There are local maps, and a map of the island of São Miguel. There is also a local information guide, and lots of information about the island. We provide our guests with a mobile phone in order to contact us at any time.

Location

The cottage is situated in a desirable area of Sao Vicente Ferreira only a couple of minutes from the natural swimming pools of Capelas.

There is easy access to all the great attractions of Sao Miguel Island by car, bus or taxi.

Our friend and colleague Edgar is resident in Ponta Delgada and manages the day to day events including welcoming guests, cleaning the cottage, and dealing with any requests. He speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish and some French. He was born in Sao Miguel and works in a hotel so is very knowledgeable about what tourists want to do and see.
